Lets bring 2017 in with a bang. Many of you have already started thinking about what you would like the new year to look like – how about we do it together?

I want to share some Energy-based techniques that I will be using to bring the changes I want to bring into my life!

Each week for 12 weeks – I will be sharing techniques I am using to accelerate change.  ARe YoU WiTH mE?

Wk 1 – Move the Meter Challenge

Do YOU want to Move the Meter? Move or change something?

Start by retrieving and reviewing your belief system.
What beliefs are working for your and which are not.

Here’s a little story…
As many of you know – I had weight loss surgery about 3 years ago.  I originally lost about 70-75lbs. Then over the last year, I’ve put back on about 10 lbs.  While this isn’t a huge number – I definitely want to make sure I don’t end up back where I was “before”.

I went back to research to determine why that happened.  I think I just became complacent and comfortable.  I started resorting back to old patterns and ways of doing things; my habits, behaviors and thinking.  I decided I am going to challenge myself to change over the next 12 wks.

Habits/beliefs….what does that mean?

Because I’m focusing on my own food habits – I’ll be talking about that – but this same information could be applied in other ways as well; health in general, relationships, work, etc.

Let’s Get Going….

A deeper part of me knows.. everything is energy.  Foods are energy.  Energy is energy – nothing more and nothing less. Its not the foods that make us fat – it’s the beliefs encompassing what we do / how we do it / how we feel / what we believe – when we take actions. Our bodies are super-conscious and will metabolize that food according to all this.  Ever single cell has it’s own consciousness.

Your body has its own consciousness … how does that play out?

So, for example – when you are eating that cheeseburger, how does it make you feel?  Your belief system will lead the changes you are wanting to occur.  You can either use your prior belief system to reek the rewards or change that belief system.

EXAMPLES:
EATING A CHEESEBURGER:
If your feelings and beliefs are: cheese/hamburger is protein and it is good for you & promotes weight loss
RESULT
Your body will respond and weight loss will occur.
____________

EATING A CHEESEBURGER:
If your feelings and beliefs are: cheese/hamburger has a lot of calories, is loaded with fat & promotes weight gain
RESULT
Your body will respond by helping you gain weight.

Our bodies respond to our thoughts & beliefs.  So to accelerate your goals – resort back to what thinking patterns have helped you in the past. What healthy eating styles have benefited you.  We’ve been surrounded by tons of beliefs – just pick those that best resonate with you.

What happens if you can’t find that belief or beliefs that create resonance?
Resonance means that you feel/believe it will work for you. 
Then create new ones….

Creating New Thought Patterns
Become more conscious of what is happening to your body and yourself.  Review your current results, what seems to be happening “outside” of you.  What seems to be “outside” of you is merely only a reflection of what’s inside of you.  You are your own mini-world!

If you find a belief system is coming up and isn’t serving you… find a way to shift that belief.  Shifting – just means finding a way to feel better about it and believe it.

It could be an affirmation – a short phrase directed at the feeling.  “Food is my Friend”

It could be becoming aware of how that served you in the past & bringing compassion to it.  Talking to your body: “I know you are only responding to what I want. Thank you for showing me that you respond to me.”

Be aware sometimes one belief is attached to several other beliefs – so you may need to shift multiple beliefs to notice physical changes; in your body, in your relationships, jobs, etc.
